FASHION COLOR PALETTE GUIDE

When it comes to choosing the perfect color palette, it's essential to consider the individual's unique features, personality, and style. My twelve seasons color model provides a comprehensive guide to help ladies find the hues that best complement their natural beauty and enhance their overall look.

COLOR PALETE

EXPLORING THE 12 SEASONS

The twelve seasons color model by Click 30A Photography addresses that not everyone individual falls distinctly into one of the four traditional seasons color tones—spring, summer, autumn, or winter.

The Fashion Fusion 12 seasons color model recognizes that individuals' tones can have various characteristics, so we further break down each color season into three subcategories based on the third color dimension of chroma. Doing this explains how the seasons can overlap or flow into each other, giving us a more nuanced approach to color palette selection.

Keep reading as we delve into each of the twelve seasons and discover their unique color characteristics:

30A photography warm spring

warm or true Spring

You are a True Spring if the primary color aspect of your overall appearance is warm, and the secondary aspect is bright.

When you look in the mirror, the first thing you notice about your colouring is its warmth. There is no cool quality in your appearance, and golden and honey hues dominate your features.

In addition, your skin, eyes and hair have a fresh and clear appearance. Instead of blending, they contrast each other, and there is no muddiness or grayness about them. Overall, the contrast between your features is medium.

02

bright spring

You are a Bright Spring if the dominant characteristic of your overall appearance is bright, and the secondary characteristic is warm – meaning warm colours suit you better than cooler ones.

When you look in the mirror, the first thing you notice about your colouring is that there is a very high contrast between skin, eyes, and hair. This gives you a clear and crisp appearance. Your eyes will probably be clear, sparkling, and the first thing people notice.

In addition, your coloring has warmer undertones, meaning gold flatters your skin more than silver.

light spring

You are a Light Spring if the primary color aspect of your overall appearance is light, and the secondary aspect is warm – meaning warm colors suit you better than cooler ones.

When you look in the mirror, the first thing you notice about your coloring is that there is very little contrast between your skin, eyes and hair. All of your features are equally light.

This means that if you have dark eyes or dark hair, but you aren’t a person of color, then you are most likely one of the darker seasons. If you are a person of color, but you have very light coloring for your ethnicity, you may be a Light Spring.

In addition, your coloring has warmer undertones, meaning gold flatters your skin more than silver.

04

soft summer

You are a Soft Summer if the primary color aspect of your overall appearance is muted, and the secondary aspect is cool – meaning cool colors suit you better than warmer ones.

When you look in the mirror the first thing you notice about your coloring is that your skin, eyes and hair all blend into one another. Instead of bright and vibrant, your features appear somewhat “greyed out” or toned down. This gives you a soft, muted appearance.

The contrast between your skin, eyes and hair is low to medium. But the important thing is that your coloring blends and is not intense. In addition, your coloring has cooler undertones, meaning silver flatters your skin more than gold.

When you look in the mirror, the first thing you notice about your coloring is the low contrast between skin, eyes, and hair. All of your features are very light.

This means that if you have dark eyes or dark hair, but you aren’t a person of color, then you are most likely one of the darker seasons. If you are a person of color, but you have very light coloring for your ethnicity, you may be a Light Summer.

In addition, your coloring has cooler undertones, meaning silver flatters your skin more than gold

06

cool summer

You are a Cool Summer if the primary color aspect of your overall appearance is cool – meaning cool colors suit you better than warm ones, and the secondary aspect is muted.

When you look in the mirror, the first thing you notice about your colouring is its obvious cool quality. Your skin, eyes and hair all have cool undertones, which may be blue or beige. There is no warmth in any of the features.

In addition, the coloring of your features is muted – meaning the features blend rather than contrast each other. Compared to the other two Summer seasons, however, True Summer is the most contrasted. Overall, the level of contrast between the features is medium.
